Amazon plans to cancel the campaign ads for Black Friday in France. Earlier, the French government said Amazon’s Black Friday campaign was unfair to small shops because the coronavirus blockade forced them to close. France entered a second national blockade on Friday to control the number of new crown infections. The blockade Act requires all non essential stores to be closed. Agnes pannier runchaer, France’s junior economy minister, said Amazon had been asked to stop the activity. “At a time when 200000 companies have to close down, Amazon’s advertising is out of date,” she told radio one Europe on Saturday When asked if Amazon will be allowed to maintain Black Friday promotions this year, pannier runchaer said it was not clear. “It’s an issue that we have to communicate with all retailers,” she said.
