New York attorney general Letitia James has joined the team to investigate Amazon’s market influence, according to the news agency. James’s office is working with the California Attorney General and the FTC to investigate the e-commerce giant, the media reported on Monday.

Amazon CEO and founder Jeff Bezos was questioned by the US House antitrust committee last week about the company’s alleged unfair practices against small sellers on its platform. He was present with the CEOs of apple, Facebook and alphabet, and the business practices of the latter three companies were also severely questioned.

the US Congress, the FTC, the Department of justice, the European Union and the state attorney general have launched a series of antitrust investigations against Amazon, Facebook, alphabet and apple. There have been reports that the attorneys general of California and Washington, as well as FTC, have launched investigations into Amazon, but Amazon has not publicly confirmed these investigations.
