Flyability’s Elios drone doesn’t have this problem, so it was recently used to explore the depths of Greenland’s ice caves. These rivers can enter through vertical pits called the glacier Ou cave. However, the researchers could only descend 130 meters (427 feet). Pits can be as deep as 300 meters (984 feet), but at this depth, the ice structure is dangerous and unpredictable. < / P > < p > for the 2018 expedition sponsored by outdoor clothing company moncler, sauro and his team explored parts of glacier ou, but then remotely piloted Elios for the rest of the journey.
