U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta said on Monday that he would consider the arguments in a controversial order relating to the protection of confidential information in an antitrust lawsuit filed by the US Department of justice against Google. Metta had previously instructed the government and Google to submit a “position statement outlining their position on the terms of the disputed protection order” by Friday.
