On September 15, BiliBili video satellite, China’s first video remote sensing satellite customized by Internet company (station B for short) and used for science popularization, successfully launched. The satellite was launched by China’s Long March 11 carrier rocket in the Yellow Sea. The satellite successfully entered the scheduled orbit and the launch mission was successful. Li Ni, vice chairman and COO of bilibilibili, said that “BiliBili video satellite” is like a “eye” to see the world from space. It will look down on the earth and observe celestial bodies in the sun synchronous orbit 535 km above the ground. The massive remote sensing video and image data obtained by the satellite will be made into popular science video and updated regularly at station B. The video content includes science and technology, humanities, history, nature, public welfare, education and other fields. In the future, “BiliBili Bili video satellite” will also customize shooting tasks for station B users. BiliBili video satellite is a new type of video satellite independently developed by Changguang Satellite Technology Co., Ltd. The satellite has the characteristics of low cost, low power consumption, low weight and high resolution. It can obtain color video images with resolution better than 1.2m and coverage area no less than 14.4km × 6km. One belt, one road satellite will enter the orbit, and will launch 16 “Jilin one” satellite networks, which will provide more abundant remote sensing data and product services for the government, industry and users along the “one belt” road. On July 10 this year, BiliBili video satellite was launched from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. However, the launch mission failed due to the abnormal conditions of the rocket in flight. Station B later said that the satellite plan would not be terminated and would launch the satellite again. This time, the Long March 11 carrier rocket successfully launched the Bili Bili video satellite. More Samsung devices can now run Android applications on PC through your phone
